female leaders!
Robogals wants to expand its operations so that its
impact may be felt Australian-wide. We will be doing
this through Robogals Bootcamp, 3 days of learning
and fun at the University of Melbourne, where you
will learn how to set up Robogals at your university
with students from all over the country.
As well as that, Robogals will be contesting the
Guinness World Record for the World's Largest Robot
Dance during the Bootcamp. Click

Who are we looking for?
- 24 smart, passionate and energetic girls who want to make a difference.
- 6 girls each from The University
of New South Wales, The University of Queensland, The
University of Adelaide and the University of Western Australia.
- Each of the six girls will take on one of the following
positions
in Robogals at their university.
- Girls studying at any level - undergraduate/ post-graduate may
apply.
- A preference will be given to girls studying science, engineering or
technology disciplines.
- No experience necessary!

Update #1: Monday 17 August 2009
Applications have closed for the
University of Adelaide.
Applications have been extended for
a week at the University of Western Australia
until Thursday 20 August 2009.
Applications have been extended for two
weeks at the University of Queensland until
Thursday 27 August 2009.
The University of New South Wales already
has two girls on board, and discussions are
taking place regarding the other four.
The Largest Robot Dance World Record Attempt
currently has over 150 registered
participants.
Update #2: Tuesday 18 August 2009
Applications have reopened for the
University of Adelaide to extend an
invitation to students from the EEE department.
Applications will close Thursday 27 August 2009.
Update #3: Monday 31 August 2009
Applications have closed for the University
of Adelaide.
Applicants have been chosen from the
University of Western Australia.
The calibre of applications from Western
Australia was very high, and we commend
all girls who submitted an application.
Following discussions with the University
of New South Wales, applications will close
Monday 7 September.
Update #4: Monday 7 September 2009
Applicants from the University of Adelaide
have been chosen.
Applicants from the University of Western
Australia have been chosen.
Applications from the University of
Queensland reopened and will close Thursday
10 September. One applicant has already
been accepted.
Applications from the University
of New South Wales will close
Monday 7 September.
Applicants from the University of Melbourne
will be chosen at the Elections Meeting on
Tuesday 15 September in the Green Theatre,
EEE Building, from 1pm - 2pm.

currently has 274 confirmed guests.
Update #5: Friday 25 September 2009
Applications from all universities have now
been closed, and all applicants have been notified
of the outcome. The standard of applications was
consistently very high, we thank everyone for
applying, and we hope you have the opportunity
to be involved with Robogals in the future.
